Happy Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day. Nicholas and Doug brought me breakfast in bed, including some very nice cuddles from Nicholas and some of his artistic handiwork. We spent the morning around our place, going on small walks. The afternoon was spent up in Northern Vermont at the Currier's farm. After we help them hang maple sap buckets and collect and boil the sap, it is time for "bucket washing". Nicholas was great... He spent part of the time trying to stick spouts into the side of the sugar house (into a little knot hole), then putting the spouts into the buckets that needed to be washed, bringing buckets to Daddy and others to wash, and helping us stack up the dry buckets. After all of that was done, he helped Daddy feed the cows and got to pet some of them. What a day!
