Donovan turned four months old and had his 4-month well-baby check-up last week. He weighed 20 lbs, 5 oz and was 27.5 inches tall. He's almost two pounds and two inches bigger than Nicholas was at this age!!! Yikes! But, he's doing great and is a healthy, happy baby. You can see that he still drools a ton!!!

Since we last wrote, we've gone from really cold weather, to really warm weather, and back to cold weather again. We built "Frosty" in early January. Over the past month and a half, he has become thinner and shorter, but has been an almost daily source of corn for the bluejays. Just this week, Frosty "laid down" to take a nap... and now he (according to Nicholas) is playing out in the woods with the deer and the Abominable Snowman.

We continue to take Nicholas skiing. He must have some "Dums" in him. He loves "crust skiing"!

If you listen closely, you can hear Nicholas saying "You're going to be so speedy, I do not catch you." (We're still working on the correct pronoun use.) We watched the Dartmouth Carnival ski races on Friday and Saturday. Nicholas really wants to be speedy like a ski racer and is excited to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house next weekend where we get to watch "Daddy ski fast like a ski racer."
Nicholas, Donovan, and I got to ride in the Piston Bully groomer earlier this week. Here you can see Nicholas making his way to the machine. Nicholas loved it until we went down a steep hill and he became worried that he might fall out the window.
We hope you had a Happy Valentine's Day. Nicholas loved making "a special treat that Daddy can eat."

We took the boys to the new Aquatic Center. Nicholas loved the pool. Donovan slept through the entire thing, so we were able to spend a lot of time playing with Nicholas.

The pool has a great river feature with lots of fun water tunnels.
