In the last week or so, we've had a chance to visit with lots of family, and spent a bit of time enjoying the recent warm weather (it feels like fall is rapidly approaching though).
The kids and I had a great visit with Ray, Malu, Neel, and Hael and Malu's parents and Grandma last week. We met up with them at the Audubon Society outside of Concord. The weather was great and the blackberries were plentiful!

The kids and I walked/biked/strolled into Hanover last Wednesday to go to the farmer's market for kettle corn and lemonade. One of the highlights for Nicholas was stopping at the store for a candy necklace. It helped "fuel his jets" for the three-mile ride.
He was also plenty proud to park his bike with the others. It is hard to tell in this picture, but he wrapped someone else's bike chain around his training wheel to make sure that no one would take off with his bike when we went in to Doug's office.
Donovan still has a way to go before he rides his bike into Hanover.
Finally, this past weekend we drove down to Annapolis to help prepare his parents' house for Bapa's return. Doug and Peter did a great job adding railings and steps and doing other odd jobs. It was really wonderful to see how well Bapa is recovering from surgery.

Our drive to and from Annapolis was pretty long so we let the kids watch some movies as we drove. I couldn't resist taking this picture of Nicholas as he watched an old Donald Duck video.
