Happy 6th Birthday to Nicholas!
This year, Nicholas' birthday fell on the Veteran's Day -- so he had the day off from school and could spend the whole day at home with Donovan, Lily, and me -- and Doug came home early from work to spend more time with all of us.
Nicholas wanted a monster cake - the perfect excuse to use up lots of our Halloween candy for decorations. I particularly like the eyes (gumballs), the mouth (starburst), and the tongue (airheads). The brown hair started out as a type of cotton candy (labeled Werewolf hair), but it started dissolving soon after we added it to the cake.
Nicholas is 6!
