We traveled to Pennsylvania to spend Easter weekend with Nana, Bapa, Peter, Kathleen, and Meghan. Meghan is a sweet little girl and hardly cries. Lily is absolutely in love with "little Meghan" and can't wait for her to be big enough to play.

Lily was much too excited to take a nap, so Nana tried to lay down with her to see if she could help her fall asleep. I peeked in at one point to see Nana (looking asleep on the floor) and Lily peeking over the edge of the couch with a big smile.
Needless to say, Lily never did take a nap...

We spent the afternoon dyeing Easter eggs...
... and eating crackers and cheeses.
To add to the excitement of the weekend, Nicholas lost his third tooth (another bottom one).
After a mostly sleepless night (it must be hard to sleep when you are waiting for the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy -- and there is a plastic "zombie" coming out of your Aunt and Uncle's garden), the kids woke early and were very excited to start hunting for Easter eggs!

Agh... retrieving Easter eggs from the arms of the zombie. I overheard Nicholas tell Donovan as they were trying to fall asleep: "It's OK Donovan. We are probably safer here than at our house - because at our house we have bears and zombies, and there probably aren't any bears here since we are not in a forest."

Nicholas was the fastest.
They got them all. Now to check out what is inside. This year the Easter bunny left tiny dinosaurs, some fruit treats, and a couple of pieces of candy.

At least it is easy when they are too young to squiggle away - or make funny faces.
