We spent a rainy weekend in the middle of July at the Billings Farm and Museum, a working historical farm. It took Nicholas a while to warm up to the horses, but he really liked the cows and chickens.

Back at home, Nicholas is turning into a great helper. He loves to help me cook. We made biscuits and Nicholas helped me mix up the ingredients, knead the dough, and turn it into biscuits on the cookie sheet. : )

He is also getting excited to be a big brother. A friend of ours gave him a baby doll with which he practices being gentle and putting down for a nap. He also can tell you that his baby lives in Mommy's belly "house" and that it says "wa-wa-wa" and "boom-boom-boom" (thanks clinic appointments).

Here are more pictures from Billings Farm and Museum.
