After a hiatus of 18 years, Doug's family has reinstated the "Hickey Do". From what I gather, the Hickey Do began with Doug's grandparents (Lisa's parents) and was a party of blow-out proportions (a lobster-fest, with an invitation list that included friends of all ages). This year's party was held at Beth's house and about 50 friends/family were able to come. The picture below is the full Hickey family (minus Beth's husband, Dave).

Peter and Kathleen brought fun and games for the little ones - the water slide was a great hit with the kids. This shot is of Doug giving Nathan a little boost, as Nicholas supervises.

Grandpa (Wayne) rounded out the water fun with a shark water sprayer. Nicholas thought it was a dolphin...

Nicholas loves Peter. He now runs around our house calling for "Pete, Pete, Pete".

Nicholas did amazingly well at the party. Staying up late, even after a nap that was much shorter than normal.

We had a relaxing morning on Sunday, with a small birthday party for Peter, scooter rides around the house, and a trip to a petting zoo.
