Lilian Brooke - The first few days

She's finally here.... Lilian Brooke decided to join the family on her own just hours before she was scheduled to be induced. After a very quick (and mostly easy) labor, we welcomed her to the world on Friday, November 26th at 9:23 am. She weighed 9 pounds 7 ounces and was 21 inches long. Since then, she has spent most of her life sleeping, eating, and being adored by her family.

Nicholas and Donovan were her first hospital visitors. Nicholas was particularly interested in Lily. Donovan was a bit more interested in snuggling with Mommy and playing with the buttons on the hospital bed. They both love to cuddle with her and touch her.

The rest of the Van Citters family also visited us in the hospital...

When we returned home, we had a small "Birth Day" party for Lily, and have been fortunate to have had continual family in town. Nana stayed until Wednesday morning, and Grandma, Uncle Chris, and Uncle Donovan arrived Wednesday night of this week (more pictures to come from their visit at some point).
