The kids are growing up so quickly. Nicholas turned 5 on November 12th. Two and a half weeks before his birthday, Nicholas gave up his afternoon nap. He had been taking 2 hour naps everyday, and he hasn't taken a nap since. At the same time, he gave up his pacifier. This was a huge change for Nicholas - and he is very proud of being FIVE. We are always hearing about what five years old can do. (Donovan now thinks he too can skip a nap... Yikes!) Nicholas loves anything to do with space. And, he still loves racing around the house as fast as possible. The racing is non-stop...
Lilian turned one two weeks later. She continues to be as sweet and friendly as ever. She still has only a few words... mama, dada, hi, kitty, doggie, but she has been talking up a storm. She is on the verge of walking, but still is cautious and carefully sits down before quickly crawling off.
