We took a mini-vacation with the full Van Citters family to celebrate Beth's fortieth birthday and Lisa's birthday - both on the same day!

We stayed at the Wentworth by the Sea, in Portsmouth, NH; Doug was able to get Beth and Dave's room upgraded to the turret room on the right. It was supposed to rain all weekend, but it turned out to be great weather! We went out to dinner Friday night, celebrated with homemade angel food cake afterwords, and spent all of Saturday morning in the indoor and outdoor pools.

During the weekend, we also had a lot of fun in Hanover. Peter, Kathleen and Meghan stayed with us for about five days, and Lisa and Wayne came up for the rest of the long weekend. We took our (almost) annual ride on the Green Mountain Flyer at the Pompanoosuc Mills furniture sale (and ended up with a new dining room table). We then came back here, had lobster/steak and s'mores, and spent Memorial Day finding plants for our yard.
