Playing catch up again…
Here are a few photos from Easter! The kids had a great time racing for eggs inside the house, and outside… and it was great that our snow was almost entirely gone and the yard was partly dry.

Later in the day, we took our rockets out for the first time this year. The two on the right are new from this spring.

We had such good success with the rockets that Doug decided to take his remote control plane out.
Doug launches it by hand...
It flies beautifully and Doug can do quite a few tricks with the plane…It can roll, do loops, and other cool tricks, and it goes really fast.
Unfortunately, it isn't actually very big when it is high in the sky, and it only takes a second for it to get lost in the sun…
Wrecks must happen fairly often, and the company that Doug bought this from has a "crash of the week" contest. Doug submitted this photo (below) with the caption "Teaching the kids that this is still a great way to spend the day together." His photo was selected from the 40+ other entries of the week, and his new plane should be here any day now.
