Donovan is two months old today. He continues to be a really happy baby who enjoys sleeping and smiling... and eating, too. He's even beginning to enjoy "tummy time" (at least for brief periods).

We spent the weekend doing lots of fun holiday things. On Friday night, we took the boys into town to see a model train set and the Dartmouth Christmas tree. Nicholas loved the trains and the "twinkle little star" on top of the tree.
On Saturday, we found a Christmas tree and decorated it. Nicholas enjoyed searching for the tree (and hiding behind and within the trees), but he really LOVED bringing the tree into the house and decorating it with lights, a "twinkle little star", and decorations. In the process, he has learned a lot of new words (i.e., breakable, angel, ornament, santa, and Christmas music). Our favorite part of the day was watching Nicholas place ornaments carefully onto the tree and pronounce "Persect!" (a.k.a. perfect) each time an ornament stayed on the tree. We lost a few ornaments in the first 24 hours, but it is unbelievably fun to see Nicholas' excitement.
