Visit to Nana and Bapa

We spent the last week of June visiting Nana and Bapa in Annapolis. Our trip was filled with excursions into Baltimore and Washington, DC - and we spent lots of time on the boats and in the water.

 Nana and Bapa have an enormous tube that all four of us (Aricca, Donovan, Lily, and Nicholas) could easily fit inside.

 Doug and Donovan - At the beginning of our trip Donovan was nervous to go in the water. By the time we left, you couldn't keep him out.

 Aghhhh.... Nicholas learned the hand motion for faster, and LOVED tubing!

Doug and Wayne spent a relaxing afternoon on the sailboat, while Lisa and I played with the kids in the motorboat.

During our trip, we had a chance to go into Washington D.C. to visit the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. The museum is filled with fascinating items. Donovan particularly loved the dinosaurs - and really DID NOT LIKE the mummies.

Another highlight of the trip was a weekend visit from Peter, Kathleen, and Meghan. Lily continues to be absolutely in love with her little cousin - and the boys are pretty interested in her too.

 The boys were able to spend a bit of time playing with Nana's iPad. She let them download a game called "Plants vs. Zombies" and they were so happy to have a chance to play it.
